Full Moon in Gemini: November 25, 2015

20151121_113917The Full Moon is the time when the energy of the lunar cycle peaks. This one in particular presents a very important and strong peak. It is a very emotional time that can be balanced by Gemini’s mental energy and dexterity. Our minds will be enlightened and we must balance heart and reason in order to take advantage of that.

Nothing will be hidden or withheld from you. You will begin to see things in a different light and perceive what has been overlooked. You will see new ways of doing things and paths you hadn’t considered before. Solutions and ways of surmounting obstacles will come to you.

What used to allure you, won’t anymore. That goes for any area of your life, especially in regards to the path you see yourself on; places, cities, and countries that you consider particularly special and important; and relationships. There is a good potential for light being shed on all of that. You can free yourself from outdated plans and dreams if you want to, and then move forward with a refreshed take on life.

New relationships can begin during this period. Reevaluate your friends and companions. Stay around those who are honest and loyal to you. Let the others go, or don’t share so much of your life with them.

Let your mind and your consciousness soar. Rely on spiritual guidance and protection. Raise your frequency and move forward. As a result, you might end up increasing and improving your social networking. You will feel more comfortable and at the center of your social life, where you naturally belong.

Venus in Libra – Nov. 8 to Dec. 5, 2015

Keeper of ScalesVenus is entering one of the signs that it rules: Libra. It is at home there, which can provide us with the same sort of feeling, especially in relation to Venus’s attributes, which are basically love, romance, beauty, aesthetics, money and finances. We see them being backed up by Libra’s strong beliefs in elevated concepts, such as equality, distribution, harmony, and fairness, all coming from a generous, balanced, compassionate heart, and a mind that can encompass them all and find ways of working within these parameters.

Libra is a very intellectual sign that can teach us how to find practical solutions to put those beliefs into action with reasoning, loving and impartial analysis and judgement, looking for win-win solutions, considering your side as much as the side of others, and having some solid values reflected in visual beauty. Beauty, on the other hand, can also mirror those values. This works much like kalós/kalé in Ancient Greek, which mean simultaneously virtuous, good, noble, and beautiful, since these concepts were not perceived as dissociated from one another. Let us be inspired by that and find our own version of kalós/kalé.

Partial Solar Eclipse: September 13, 2015

We have been spending some time preparing, setting goals, focusing and getting ready. At the Solar Eclipse, which occurs at the Virgo New Moon, potentials will be grounded and details adjusted. The moment for emerging and blooming arrives. There is no room for hesitation, no need to be in doubt or second guess yourself and your choices. It is time for being bold and brave and move forward. It is time for reaping the rewards of seeds planted lifetime after lifetime, time for each person to reap what they have sown. This is a process that has begun many lifetimes back and now it is the end of a long karmic cycle and a sort of judgement day. Truth will come to light. The power of Balance and Equality will be working at an archetypal and spiritual level, putting things in their rightful places.

Some lifting of heavy energies will be taking place. For those who have kept their light intact, even if discreetly, it is time to step up and receive what is theirs. Those who have been pushed into a corner, forced to lay low and keep their light to themselves, can come out of the shadows to be seen and appreciated by those who can see them for who they really are.

Step by step we have come far and reached a spiritual destination. Enjoy it and allow things to be moved around and adjusted, and then settled. Be a spectator of the changes as you become aware of the spiritual maturity you have reached. Potentials are ripe. Abundance is present and flowing. There is support from the animal kingdom in terms of energy, presence and guidance. Attention to signs for they will be particularly meaningful. Ingest nutritious food as a way to keep your vitality high and stay grounded and connected to Earth.

Between the New Moon and the Total Lunar Eclipse at the Full Moon on September 28, we have a window of transformation that can be highly emotional and bring unexpected changes, including of heart and mind. Don’t be surprised if that happens, and hold the urge to express yourself, since communication will not be favorable with Mercury turning retrograde on September 17. Let changes occur and things run their course.

Venus Inferior Conjunction – August 15, 2015

Wisdom of the Hidden Realms

Right after the New Moon in Leo began a Moon cycle on the 14th, we have the Venus Inferior Conjunction in Leo beginning a new Venus cycle. As Venus gets between the Earth and the Sun, it ceases being the Evening Star, disappears from the sky, and returns a few days later as the Morning Star. During this period, we take a deep dive into the unconscious, the underground, and the undercurrents, as we pond upon Venusian themes – love, relationships, harmony, balance, values, beauty, aesthetics, money, and finances. Since Venus is retrograde, we will be revisiting the themes brought up by its transit through Leo, as well as karmic and previous lives events and connections, and be given a second chance to tackle them. Events marked by destiny in those areas can also occur.

As pointed out by “The Ice Queen” card, we will go into some sacred sleep, or cocooning, in order to reassess these matters, connect with the Female Wisdom, and give ourselves time to undergo inner transformation. We can gather momentum and regain our strength, which is a theme of Venus in Leo, where we see the female principle taming the Lion heart.

As we go down and deep with Venus from 22-23° of Leo, we rescue the following Sabian Symbol: “In a circus, the bareback rider displays her dangerous skill”. The image points to the danger of going overboard with Leo’s confidence, lose our balance and fall. The main theme for the hibernation period has to do with female power plays and the abuse of power by women, be it in the workplace, family or personal relationships. We will be able to see through people and situations, and perceive hidden motivations. We will figure out how to deal with them and be able to restore balance and fairness when we reemerge with Venus before the end of the month. If you are the one out of balance, use this period to reevaluate your relationship with others, connect to your inner wisdom and be inspired by Venus’ sense of beauty and purpose, before you take a fall. If, on the other hand, you need to hold your ground, use the strength and brightness of the newborn Venus to support you and begin anew.

Wisdom of the Hidden Realms

We come across a triple 8 in today’s numerology, as 2015 adds up to 8. This is the sign of a breach that allows us to move from one cycle into another. It is time for endings, beginnings, and fortune reversals. Clashes might occur, but only in order to break apart what has been stale for a while. We have a trigger point today which will propel changes and adjustments that will unfold throughout the month. As the door opens up for new beginnings, expand your mind into endless possibilities. Rely on beauty, step into faith and the power of belief, and sing your dreams into reality.

Summer Solstice: June 21, 2015 – Tarot and Sabian Symbols

The Swan Queen 20150611_105046

The Sun enters Cancer on June 21 marking the Summer Solstice in the Northern hemisphere, and the Winter Solstice in the Southern. The Oracle card – The Swan Queen – is the same that had appeared for the Total Solar Eclipse at the Equinox, on March 20. Since the effects of a Solar Eclipse can be felt up to 6 months, the reappearance of this card reaffirms that its energy is still very active, and it shows how it has progressed from the Equinox to the Solstice. Back then, we had the color purple indicating inner focus and a clearing of the heart and of emotions; now it comes up again showing that the process continues with a deep and complete energetic purification as we redirect our energy accordingly to our new focus. The ice had begun to melt down exposing the dirt underneath it, which represented what needed to be purged. Now, things continue to heat up and the melted ice turns into flowing water, initiating some movement. The heat is coming from the fire in our hearts lit up by a desire for transformation that could lead to genuine happiness. Everything that seems superfluous, artificial or fake in your life will become unsustainable and almost unbearable. From this movement inside, things around you will begin moving accordingly. That will remove what has been standing in your way – two things must leave or change needs to happen in two areas of your life. We have been going round in circles in a sort of suspension, even if we haven’t noticed it, and it is time to put an end to it. This is a golden opportunity to choose whether we want to continue going through the motions or provoke a deep change in our lives.

You might find yourself rekindling old dreams, professional plans, places you wanted to visit or live, and reconnecting with people you would like back in your life. As you embark on the adventure of rebuilding and restructuring your life, you will get a breath of fresh air, see your vitality and enthusiasm increase, and restore faith in happiness.

Be patient about timing. What is important is to make a conscious, deep, inner resolution and follow it through. The first signs of new things coming in are already there, and you might spot them if you look around. As movement begins, make plans for the future, especially regarding relocating yourself and your resources. This is a powerful moment to do so since the Solar Eclipse point, Pisces 29-30, which is the last degree of the zodiac, is a strong indication of the end of a big cycle and the transition into a new one; the Solstice is one of the 4 points of the year cycle that sets the tone for the season it opens; and the New Moon is the right time for planting seeds. Get some inspiration from the Sabian Symbol for Pisces 29-30: “A majestic rock formation resembling a face is idealized by a boy who takes it as his ideal of greatness, and as he grows up, begins to look like it”. Dream big and aim high. Create mental pictures of your plan and put it into writing so as to define it well, be a reminder and keep you focused until you grow into it.

Full Moon in Sagittarius: June 2, 2015: Astrology, Sabian Symbols and Tarot

As the Moon in Sagittarius enters in opposition with the Sun in Gemini, the Full Moon comes into configuration. This is also the axis of a Kite configuration, as the Moon forms a fire Grand Trine with Jupiter and Uranus.

The Moon on Sagittarius 11 represents the Jack of Wands and the following Sabian symbol: “A flag turns into an eagle; the eagle into a chanticleer saluting the dawn”. This is the motivator, full of a youthful spirit, enthusiasm and urgency, providing us fuel to break free from the restraints of society, achieve a higher vision and begin anew. This indicates where we begin and also where we are headed. The Moon is supported by the energies of Jupiter and Uranus, which, combined, will be focused to the Sun in conjunction with Mars, and find there a creative outlet.

As the Sagittarius Moon, Jupiter in Leo provides idealism, expansion and optimism. On Leo 16, it is the 7 of Wands and: “A volunteer church choir singing religious hymns”. We have an element of religion and spirituality coming into play, but also an unshakeable faith and the willingness of doing whatever it takes for the sake of what you believe. We recognize the desire for change and have disposition to resist opponents as we find our will power strengthened.

Uranus comes in bringing rebelliousness and the impetus to protest. In 19 Aries it is the Ace of Wands and: “A young girl feeding birds in winter”. This is the fire necessary to melt the ice and take us from a defenseless, helpless position into one where we can take action filled with confidence. This image recalls the Oracle card pulled for the First Quarter Moon post – “The Ice Queen” reversed, that showed a frozen state of hibernation and stagnation. With this Sabian image we see the ignition of a rebirth, but the woman is still in her early years. Feeding birds do not seem to be very important, yet, there is an owl on the card, symbol of wisdom, so we could interpret this as our wisdom and inner vision awakening, being fed and growing.

Even though the last exact Uranus/Pluto square in a series of 7 has already passed, the square is still in configuration, provoking revolts, violence, protests, fires, explosions, and confrontations in the social sphere. Pluto retrograde, in turn, adds to the mix the victimization theme and issues of control and power, as well as uses of sexual and psychic energies for manipulation purposes, and  karmic contents. Furthermore, it is in Yod formation with Jupiter (conjunct Juno) and Mars (conjunct Sun), calling for a rearrangement of circumstances in pursuit of justice and reparation. Pluto is on Capricorn 15 – 6 of Diamonds and: “School grounds filled with boys and girls in gymnasium suits”, demonstrating harmonious youth participation, ready for action and movement, as well as equality between genders.

The Sun on Gemini 11 is the Jack of Spades and the image: “A slave girl fights for her independence in the city”. We see the theme of hierarchies, minorities, victimization and control, and someone young having the urge to fight for her rights, not putting up with the status quo any longer, being true to her truth and being able to express it, fighting for freedom, including freedom of speech. This is a fight with the mind, reasoning and the use of words.

The Sun is in conjunction with both Mars and Mercury. Mars is on Gemini 15 as the 6 of Spades and: “A woman activist in an emotional speech dramatizing her cause”. Mars provides us with the impulse to speak up with passion, but we also have mental clarity, reasoning and eloquence on our side. Mercury is retrograde on Gemini 7: 7 of Spades and: “Aroused strikers surround a factory”. We stand up for what we want as we rescue old requests and desires and reconnect with our rebellious spirit and get ready for confrontations. We cannot hold in any longer what has been left unsaid.

The Sun and the Moon are forming a t-square with Neptune on 9 of Pisces – 9 of Cups and: “An aviator pursues his journey, flying through ground-obscuring clouds”. We aim high and fly above the darkness below that represents all that should be purged. From above we get a broad, spiritual view, and connect to the eagle that frees itself from the weight of the institutionalized power with the Moon on Sagittarius 11.

We also have Chiron in Pisces 21: 3 of Cups and: “A prophet carrying tablets of the New Law is walking down the slopes of Mount Sinai”. We find resolutions for impositions from religious institutions, spiritual groups or movements, such as dogmas and social precepts. We have a deep wound that can be healed as we break free and turn to true direct spiritual experiences and revelations, and align to the Divine Truth and Justice indicated both by the quincux that Chiron forms with Jupiter, and the Sun being on Aldebaran, the Bull’s Eye, linked to Archangel Michael presence. We can count on being right about our demands and hitting the nail on the head, as well as with Archangel Michael support in our quest for bringing the truth into the light. Once that is achieved, some reparation is sought in order to obtain justice. The Moon, in turn, is very close to Antares, the star that corresponds to Archangel Uriel, who provides wisdom, practical solutions and insights. We can call upon him as we look for ways of fighting for justice. We should also consider writing as a way of expressing what we want, for writing is overseen by Uriel.

The overall theme for the Full Moon phase is synthesized by “The Ice Queen” card. It appeared reversed at the First Quarter phase, and now it was drawn upright. Like the image of the girl feeding birds in winter, this comes to reaffirm that we are taking the first step and movement has begun. The presence of the Moon in the card emphasizes the theme of cycles and time, and the connection of these processes to the lunar phases. The Sagittarius’ arrow will be directed with precision from the Moon’s position to the Sun and find its expression there, evoking the archetype of “The Arrow Master” card. This card (number 10) adds up to 1, as does “The Ice Queen” card (number 28), indicating a significant new beginning.

The radical changes indicated as needed at the First Quarter Moon gain more defined contours with the details provided by the Sabian symbols: we attain a higher vision, reconnect with our own beliefs and faith, find an urgent desire of breaking free from what restrains us (conventions of society, religion, education, work relations, government, etc.), rebel and speak up our minds as we reconnect to our youth spirits, let our demands be known verbally (oral or written, directly, through the media or the internet), and begin anew. We are on our way of awakening to a new way of living, more attuned to one’s personal beliefs regarding values, spirituality, relationships, self-expression, and above all, getting free from the weight of institutions, expected behaviors and beliefs. We are less accepting of conventions and willing to pay the price for breaking free from them. As we awaken, we rediscover who we are and find out that our originality and uniqueness has been kept intact.
